Biography:

Eliana is currently working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at McGill University, and is completing her undergraduate honours thesis under the supervision of Dr. Brett Thombs. Before joining the DEPRESSD team, she worked as a summer student at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute where she helped conduct a systematic review of behaviour-change techniques, and at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where she took part in the development of an app to test stroke patients on the extent of their language impairments. Her research with DEPRESSD focuses on the accuracy of the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) in measuring depression prevalence.
