Biography:

Felicity Goodyear-Smith is a general practitioner and professor of primary health care. She has published over 250 papers in peer-reviewed journals plus several books and book chapters. A main focus of her research is detection and intervention for mental health and risky health behaviour issues, including depression. Work involving the PHQ includes validation of the PHQ-2 and PHQ-9 in primary care.
