Biography:
Neil joined the DEPRESSD team in September 2025. Neil completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Guelph in 2016, and Master of Science degree in Statistics at Simon Fraser University in 2020. While in school, Neil held co-op positions at several organizations, such as Statistics Canada and Canadian Tire Financial Services. His Master’s research focused on Grizzly Bear population dynamics in British Columbia, Canada.
Since graduating from Simon Fraser University, Neil has worked in the biostatistics space. He has worked as a Biostatistician at the Institute for Clinical and Evaluative Sciences (ICES) and BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS, performing statistical analysis for Cancer and HIV/AIDS-related public health studies respectively. He has also worked at the contract research organization Syneos Health, where he helped design and analyze Phase 1 clinical trials.
