Biography:
Purificación Navarro García is a psychologist at the Gender Policies Department of the Terrassa Town Hall (Barcelona), where she performs psychological intervention and the development of prevention tasks in intimate partner violence (IPV). She received her Master's degrees in Behavioural Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain) in 1994. She received his PhD in psychology from the University of Barcelona (Spain) in 2008. Since 2000, she has been dedicated to study perinatal psychiatric disorders and violence against women at the Unit of Perinatal Psychiatry and Gender Research in the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona. She has published more than 15 peer-reviewed journal articles in these area.
