Biography:
Ricard Navinés de la Cruz is a medical doctor trained as a psychiatrist at the University of Barcelona, with a PhD in medicine. He is consultant in Psychiatry at the Psychiatry and Psychology Service of the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona. He is Coordinator of the Depression and Anxiety Care Program of Hospital Workers and psychiatrist member of the Hospital Liaison Psychiatry Unit. He is member of the Research Group on “Vulnerability, Gender and Psychopathology” (neuroscience catalan research group). He is also researcher at the Affective group of the Spanish Research Network Center on Mental Diseases (CIBERSAM). He has an expertise in studying biological markers in affective and anxiety disorders and stress vulnerability. He has a HIndex of 19 (Google Scholar) having authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in the field of mood and anxiety disorders, biological markers, neuroimaging, genetics and psychiatry.
